We have won the title of Australia’s Favourite Coffee twice in a row!
Every 2 years, the I Love Food Awards, hosted by FOXTEL, searches for the nation’s favourite restaurants, cafés, and of course – coffee!
At the last I Love FOOD Awards in 2014 Merlo’s Fortitude Valley Torrefazione (our original roasting house) took out the category for Australia’s Favourite Coffee or Tea for the second time running.
It was one of only three titles for Queensland businesses, out of a possible 28.
Merlo Coffee Founder Dean Merlo said the wins are fantastic for the brand and for Queensland.
“This is a major coup for us – winning back to back titles is one thing, however, the fact that this award is the biggest people’s choice in the country brings so much more to the table, we are thrilled and very excited!” he said.
With around 100,000 votes, the I Love Food Awards are Australia’s biggest people’s choice awards. Complete results can be viewed here.
